First, the crime scene is assembled from 264 puzzle pieces. Then the real detective work begins: clues must be examined, evidence analysed and the right connections uncovered. Numbers on the back of selected puzzle pieces lead to additional clues.

Using the game cards and envelopes containing evidence, players must determine who committed the crime, what their motive was and which weapon was used.

None of the game materials are damaged or destroyed while solving the case, allowing the mystery to be played again later.
