Der Herr der Ringe – Der Ringträger – Deutsch/German/Német

One Ring to rule them all – and one player who hopefully won't want to keep it for too long. 💍👁️😏
In this Der Herr der Ringe (semi-)cooperative board game, you set out together as companions on the dangerous journey towards Mount Doom. Your goal is to destroy the One Ring before the Black Riders catch up with you.

The Ring-bearer is constantly exposed to Sauron's power. If they eventually succumb to the Ring's influence during the game, the shared adventure can suddenly change dramatically: a former companion may become an opponent.

Good communication, tactical use of the cards in your hand and proper timing are essential. Together you must reach Mordor – while never being entirely certain how long the Ring-bearer will remain on your side.

The game was designed by Klaus-Jürgen Wrede, creator of Carcassonne. One particularly special component is a real engraved Ring complete with ribbon.

The plan is simple: take the Ring to Mordor and destroy it. Just make sure nobody starts calling it “My Precious” along the way. 💍🔥😏
