These Terms and Conditions apply to purchases made through the vaultnerd.shop online store operated by VAULT – Games & Snacks Kft.
The online store sells to consumers.
2. Products
The online store offers, among other things, board games, card games, Pen & Paper games, video games, collectibles, figures, clothing, merchandise and related products.
The range may include both new and used products.
For used products, the condition of the product and any known significant signs of use, damage or deficiencies will be stated in the relevant product description.
Images displayed in the online store may in certain cases be for illustrative purposes. For used products or products with an individual condition, we endeavour to present the actual condition of the product appropriately.
3. Prices
Prices displayed in the online store are the final product prices payable by the customer, excluding any applicable shipping costs, which will be displayed separately before the order is finalised.
The total amount of the order, including any applicable shipping costs, will be displayed before the customer submits an order that entails an obligation to pay.
4. Orders and Conclusion of Contract
The customer may place the desired products in the shopping cart. During checkout, the customer provides the information required to process the order, selects an available shipping and payment method, reviews the order and then submits it.
Before submitting the order, the customer has the opportunity to review and correct the information provided and the contents of the order.
Submission of an order constitutes an offer to purchase by the customer. An automatically generated technical acknowledgement confirming receipt of the order does not in itself constitute acceptance of the offer.
The contract is concluded when VAULT – Games & Snacks Kft. electronically confirms its acceptance of the customer's order.
The language of the contract may be one of the languages available in the online store and selected by the customer during the purchase process.
The electronic contract is not separately filed as a written contract by the operator.
5. Payment Methods
During checkout, the customer may choose from the payment methods currently available in the online store.
Available payment methods may change from time to time. The payment options available for the particular order and any associated costs will be displayed before the order is finalised.
6. Shipping
The online store currently ships to Hungary, Germany and Austria.
Available shipping methods, expected delivery conditions and shipping costs are displayed during the ordering process before the order is finalised.
VAULT – Games & Snacks Kft. may use an appropriate shipping service provider to fulfil an order. The specific shipping provider may vary depending on the destination country, package size and weight, and other circumstances.
7. Right of Withdrawal
Consumers entering into distance contracts have a statutory right of withdrawal without giving any reason in accordance with applicable law.
The consumer may exercise the right of withdrawal within 14 days of receiving the goods.
The consumer may exercise the right of withdrawal by making an unequivocal statement to VAULT – Games & Snacks Kft.

The consumer must return the goods within 14 days of communicating the withdrawal.
The direct costs of returning the goods are borne by the consumer unless the return results from defective or incorrect performance by the company or applicable law provides otherwise.
In the event of withdrawal, VAULT – Games & Snacks Kft. will reimburse the payments received from the consumer within the period prescribed by law. Subject to the conditions provided by law, this also includes the cost of the original standard delivery.
Reimbursement may be withheld until the goods have been received back or the consumer has provided adequate evidence that the goods have been returned, whichever occurs first.
The consumer is liable only for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
8. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply in cases where it is excluded under applicable law.
This may include, in particular, sealed goods that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene if their seal has been removed after delivery, as well as certain sealed audio or video recordings or computer software where the seal has been removed after delivery, provided that the relevant statutory exception applies to the particular product.
Where an exception applies, the customer will be appropriately informed in connection with the relevant product or before the purchase.
9. Defective Performance, Statutory Warranty, Product Liability and Guarantee
VAULT – Games & Snacks Kft. is responsible for defective performance in accordance with the applicable Hungarian and European Union consumer protection legislation.
Where the statutory conditions are met, consumers may have statutory warranty and product liability rights and, for qualifying products, rights under mandatory guarantees.
For used products, a condition, sign of use or deficiency that was clearly disclosed in the product description before purchase and was known to the customer at the time of purchase does not, by itself, constitute a defect resulting in non-conformity with the agreed condition.

10. Complaints
Customers may submit complaints concerning products, orders or the activities of VAULT – Games & Snacks Kft. using the following contact details:

VAULT – Games & Snacks Kft. will investigate and respond to complaints in accordance with applicable law.
Consumers may also contact the competent consumer protection authority or competent conciliation body in accordance with the rules applicable at the relevant time.
11. Discounts, Coupons and Promotions
VAULT – Games & Snacks Kft. may from time to time offer discounts, coupon codes or other promotions.
The conditions applicable to each promotion – including its validity period, value, eligible products, any minimum purchase amount and whether it may be combined with other discounts – will be specified in the information relating to the particular promotion.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, discounts cannot be redeemed for cash.
12. Data Protection
Detailed information concerning the processing of customers' personal data is provided in the online store's separate Privacy Policy.
13. Amendments to these Terms and Conditions
VAULT – Games & Snacks Kft. may amend these Terms and Conditions within the limits permitted by applicable law.
Amendments apply to orders placed after the amended Terms and Conditions have been published in the online store. Contracts already concluded remain subject to the conditions in force at the time the relevant order was placed.
14. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Hungarian law. However, a consumer habitually resident in another Member State of the European Union will not thereby be deprived of the protection afforded by mandatory consumer protection provisions applicable in the consumer's country of residence.
